What Are We Looking For?

Are you a digital marketer looking to work at a fast-growing startup where you can make a difference every day? We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Digital Marketing Manager to join our team and help us drive incremental revenue through digital platforms (i.e. SEO, PPC, social media, retargeting campaigns, automated email sequencing, website optimization, etc.). You will have proven success in creating, capturing, and nurturing demand to ultimately generate new meetings as well as experience with complex retargeting strategies to create content that will drive conversions. You are also passionate about data-driven marketing and stay up-to-date with emerging digital tools, industry trends, and Marketing Technology.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement overall digital marketing strategy and plans to achieve sales and lead generation goals
  • Develop and manage Valence’s website, blog posts, case studies, various social media profiles/platforms, and other digital channels and assets
  • Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve SEO rankings and organic traffic
  • Conduct keyword research to identify the most relevant and popular keywords for the company's target audience and brand
  • Optimize existing website content for search engines, including title tags, meta descriptions, and headers
  • Conduct regular technical SEO audits, monitor traffic, and understand the impact of optimizations as well as external changes (algorithm updates, SERP changes, etc)
  • Plan and execute Pay-Per-Click advertising campaigns on Google and other platforms – must continuously monitor and optimize campaigns
  • Work closely with graphic designers and marketing to create and optimize ad creative and landing pages
  • Launch and manage content marketing, email marketing, and social media advertising campaigns
  • Create a system for tracking all key KPIs and monitor ROI
  • Have proven experience with lead scoring, sales workflows, CRM and sales enablement
  • Analyze website and campaign performance data using analytics tools such as Google AdWords to maximize effectiveness by analyzing the data and optimizing the ads utilizing A/B testing
  • Compile campaign recaps, executive summaries, and insights to report to the leadership team weekly and monthly
  • Identify and assess new channels that align with customer interests and buyer’s journey
  • Remain up to date with new digital marketing techniques, technologies, and trends

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
  • 3+ years of previous work experience in digital and social media marketing
  • Mastery of execution of paid digital campaigns (including paid search, paid social, digital display, and native advertising), search engine optimization, email campaigns, and influencer engagement programs
  • Experience with the business applications of a wide variety of social media channels: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok and more
  • Strong short-form copywriting skills
  • An eye for great design, understanding of basic design principles, and ability to effectively work with creative partners
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to form strategic recommendations and program optimizations based on data, industry trends, and best practices
  • Record of success effectively managing time, budget trackers, and project work plans to ensure deadlines are met
  • Ability to clearly communicate ideas and project updates to colleagues and clients
  • Demonstrated success managing B2B and/or B2C digital and social media
  • Flexibility, self-motivation and record of success working in deadline-driven environment
